Hiking up into the hills or into a woodsy area for a nice lay down with a basket full of delicious food and a pillow or two can be a great pass time. When I plan a pic-nic today I have a rather hard time finding a blanket or two and very often if not all the time end up taking two or three beach towels which is a real hassle. So naturally when I saw the Pendleton Throw at Anthropologie I knew it would be quite useful.

Accessoring Your Country Garden
As you probably already know I'm a pretty big fan of the garden, anything to do with gardening, I LOVE! Thus, I bring you a post on things one must have to accessorize their garden space. And it just so happens that Anthropologie had everything I needed, fancy that... Birdhouse to keep the birds a tweeting and at home, a vintage rustic pot to beautifully set the right tone and mood for a country garden and my favorite, the alligator claw pot stand for those friends with a keen eye to compliment how cute it is.

Shower Curtains Fit For Nature

On a warm day after hours in the sun gardening, tending to the chickens and playing with the dogs in the field I come home with dirt under my fingernails and smudges on my knees, palms and arms. I crave a nice warm shower.
Sweater for a cool evening out
I saw the Tulip Sleeve Cardigan at Anthropologie and just thought it darling, it would be perfect on a nice evening out in cooler weather. The color and texture are warming and remind me of comfortable home in the country.
Mustn't Lose Track Of The Days
Even now in the city when I'm at work at home I lose track of time and that includes days, a lot of the time I'll be a day or two ahead and sometimes even a day or two behind. I imagine living in the quiet country-side may very well do the same, so naturally a calendar of some sort would help. I saw this vintage travel themed wall calendar and thought it absolutely perfect!

I guess I can hardly call it a selection when there's only two to choose from, but really, in my opinion two is all you need. I often browse around on the Anthropologie site, they've got such charming things in their 'Home' department including these Banda chairs.
Though by the looks of the Banda chairs you're more likely to set it outdoors rather than indoors, I can imagine something rather interesting and charming for indoor use for the Banda chairs. Perhaps set it over a colorful rug in the designated sun-room with one of those wood-stump tables, accessorizing would be to your advantage at this point: a cute simple lamp, a pile of books on the floor etc, etc... you get my drift i'm sure.

Blazing Fiery Flowers On My Wall

I found the perfect wallpaper, for now, to picture my kitchen or perhaps the entry hall in. Bright colored flowers to keep a good balance with neutral colored furnishings and lots of wood, how I love wood furnishings! I expect that in the dark the walls would be more so than usual with all these colors on them, but during the day when the sun is about to set, and it hangs just right in the sky not high nor too low the sun rays will hit he wallpaper just right and my walls will be all aglow.

Hot days like these make me think of how warm it would be in the country, hopefully it'll be sunny with a cool breeze almost every day, my favorite kind of weather. I would kick up my heels in the yard and watch the dogs that would surely be named something like Winter and Quark romp around all the while I sip on something iced.

How fun it would be to have my own free-range chicken running around clucking about at my heels. I would gingerly pick out the eggs from their nests and set it in a Farmer's Egg Crate egg holder, yes I would need some kind of nonsense like this for my eggs because they wouldn't be just ANY eggs, they would be MY very own fresh, organic eggs!
